Raja Kumar

Hi, I'm Raja, born and raised in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Design at Dhirubhai Ambani University, Gandhinagar, specializing in Communication Design. My journey so far has been quite diverse — I completed my 10th from Kerala Public School, Jamshedpur, and my 12th from Workers’ College, Jamshedpur, where I studied Commerce. Later, I graduated from Karim City College, Jamshedpur, with a Commerce Honours degree. ... Although my academic background was rooted in commerce, my passion for creativity and design has always been the driving force in my life. From a young age, I’ve been deeply interested in drawing, art, and craftwork. Over time, this passion evolved into a serious career choice, which is why I decided to step into the world of design. I love exploring different forms of visual expression — whether it’s through illustration, digital art, or creative problem-solving. My interests go beyond the classroom. I enjoy travelling, listening to music, watching movies, and playing cricket. These experiences often inspire my creative thinking and broaden my perspective as a designer. My skill set includes working with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro, along with expertise in art and craft, UX research, and teamwork. I have also gained industry exposure through my internship at Corizo, which helped me sharpen my design and research abilities in a professional setting. For me, design is not just about aesthetics — it’s about storytelling, creating experiences, and connecting with people through visuals. I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and pushing myself to grow as a designer.
